Hello Indiana!
Homestead Companies is expanding its development into the state of Indiana. The Ohio-based developer has broken ground on a 168-unit multi-family apartment complex in northeast Fort Wayne, which will be called “Camden Park Apartments.” The community will feature one and two-bedroom apartment units, that will target young professionals and employees of the northeast Fort Wayne area. It’s Homestead’s first development project in Indiana.
“Fort Wayne has been a target city for us for quite some time,” said Matt Canterbury, president of development at Homestead Companies. “We know of the growth Fort Wayne has experienced, which is largely due to smart public investment and job creation, and we are excited to be a part of supporting that growth.”
Amenities at Camden Park Apartments will include a central clubhouse, community gathering space, pool, fitness center, and an exterior dog park. Camden Park Apartments will join Homestead Companies’ growing portfolio of multi-family apartment development projects, which are located in the state of Ohio.
In addition to Camden Park Apartments, Homestead Companies is also developing an activity senior 55+ living community in Fort Wayne, which is expected to break ground in mid-to-late 2022. In September Homestead will break ground on another multi-family project in Indianapolis.
As a fully integrated real estate company, Homestead Companies will develop, construct and manage all three Indiana properties.
